On Thursday, July 30, 2026, in recognition of Rotary International’s Maternal and Child Health Month, the Rotary Club of St. Andrew North reaffirmed its commitment to improving the health and well-being of Jamaica’s most vulnerable children through the donation of a mobile nebuliser compressor machine and 27 nebuliser kits, complete with masks and tubing, to My Father’s House, a residential home operated by Mustard Seed Communities.
Home to more than 40 children living with physical and intellectual disabilities, My Father’s House provides compassionate, around-the-clock care for children with complex medical needs. Respiratory illnesses can present serious challenges for many of these children, making timely access to nebuliser therapy an essential part of their care.
The Rotary Club of St. Andrew North has been recognized as one of only three Rotary clubs in Jamaica to receive the prestigious District Governor's Distinguished Award for the 2025–2026 Rotary year.
The Rotary Club of St. Andrew North has donated approximately JMD $3 million (USD $20,000) in critical paediatric equipment to Black River Hospital, strengthening neonatal care for families across St. Elizabeth and neighbouring communities.
