President Pierpont Wilson (second left), accompanied by District Governor William “Bill” Aiken (first left) and members of the Rotary Club of St. Andrew North, presented an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) to Calabar High School as part of the Club's commitment to enhancing safety and emergency preparedness within the school community.
The initiative also included CPR, AED, and First Aid certification training for Rotarians and members of the Calabar High School community, equipping participants with the skills and confidence to respond effectively in medical emergencies.
With a combined investment of approximately JMD $450,000, this project underscores the Club's dedication to strengthening community resilience, promoting health and safety, and ensuring that more lives can be saved when every second matters.
