On Saturday October 22, 2022, Rotary Club of St Andrew North hosted a back-to-school health fair at Chetolah Mel Nathan Education Centre, Hannah Town, Kingston. This was held later than initially planned due to the passage of Tropical Storm Ian in September.

Of the 267 students; teachers at the Education Centre approximately 45 were attended to on the day from 9am to 2:30 pm. The headmistress Tamara Steele-Rowe expressed pleasure at the involvement of some 14 Rotarians from Rotary Club of St Andrew North and 6 Rotaractors from University of the West Indies and one Rotaractor from the Rotaract Club of Antigua who all made the day a tremendous success.
She said “The services delivered free of cost to this low-income community has taken a burden off the shoulders of a number of parents who normally struggle to arrange the required back to school medicals”
Eye Testing with input from The Jamaica Society for the blind is also planned in the near term
